According to espn.com, Chad Pennington will be out for the year with a shoulder injury. For an 0-3 team to lose its starting QB is a disaster. For an 0-3 team to lose its starting QB who happened to finish second in MVP voting last year is a reason to start scouting Colt McCoy and Sam Bradford.
It appears as if Chad Henne will be the new starting QB with Pat White backing him up. However, if you compare the MNF game vs. Indianapolis and yesterday's game vs. the Chargers, it is quite clear that the offense is best with someone else at the helm. I'll give you a hint, he's everyone's favorite player to draft because his name can only be spelled in capital letters.

Let's run the Wildcat 75% of the time and then bring in Henne for our "gimmick" formation that I shall dub Ninja Stars (for no good reason). The Ninja Stars package will consist of 1 TE, 2 WR, 1 FB, 1 tailback, 5 linemen, and Henne. Defenses will be stuck with linebackers covering Ted Ginn and Davonne Bess. They won't be able to match our supreme team speed and will look generally clueless.
Now all it needs to reach legendary status is a great sound clip for the nfl.com videos.
