An ... all-Disney Football Team?

This looks like a bizarro version of "Friend Like Me" from Aladdin, or maybe a Cajun version of "Poor Unfortunate Souls" in Little Mermaid. What do you think? Makes Louisiana look like a hell of a place. Although the song sorta dies, IMO in the second half when it slows down.

As a precursor to this movie coming out, which seems to be the first Disney Princess movie since the turn of the millenium (either Mulan in Mulan or Jane in Tarzan, depending on whether you count the latter - I don't), I propose - a Disney Football Team! For rules, see the superheroes football team post here. Again, only going with heroes - someone can propose a villains cast if they so desire.

QB - Stunningly hard choice - there doesn't seem to be anyone that fits the traditional QB profile. Gonna have to go with Aladdin. He is the best at making the best out of what he's got.

RB1 - Need a Chris Johnson-type back - Let's go with Pocahontas. Don't believe me? Check out this clip (start at around 3:45)

RB2 - Probably going with a guy with his own jersey already. Hercules!

FB - Clearing the way is ... Quasimodo!

WR1 - Ok, some skill position players - Going with Genie for the WR1 spot. If Chad Ochocinco was a Disney character, I'm sure he would have loved to be Genie.

WR2 - You know how they say those WRs act like children all the time? Probably because, like Peter Pan, they never grow up. He's my other pick at this slot.

TE - Are we looking for a security blanket here? Or .. perhaps, a security CARPET! I love carpet! Much like Colt McCoy and Jordan Shipley, Aladdin and Carpet make an unstoppable duo.

MLB - Looking for an intimidating anchor of the defense ... they don't call him the BEAST for no reason!

OLBs - You may want your linebackers to be able to maul someone - let's say, Simba and Nala as your bookend OLBs?

CB1 - I'm going to put Jasmine here, especially if she's allowed to bring Rajah with her.

CB2 - Putting Belle as the other corner. No particularly good reason. Affirmative action, maybe. I'd suspect that Tarzan is a better choice, but it'd be really unfair to keep the hottest Disney princess off the field, really. And you know she'll study game tape like whoa, while I'm not sure that Tarzan can read.

FS - Need guys that can shoot balls out of the air. Like ... with arrows?

SS - Or, alternatively, with magic!

K - Unlike Shaun Suisham, my kicker keeps his cool at all times. And he doesn't mind being a kicker. Baloo!
