Fixing Tennis
The Wall Street Journal, of all places, has an article about a Russian sports bettor's attempts to fix tennis matches between low-ranking female pros aka the poorest pros. He claims to have tried only once with one Ekaterina Bychkova, who rebuffed him. Not very surprising, given tennis' reputation for being corrupt at the lowest levels, and even at the highest. At the end of the article, the gambler says, "My job is to understand these girls and to think like them," reminding me of the infamous Facebook comment, "Who is this guy and why is he in all of our photos? HE'S SO CREEPY."
