Wardrobe Malfunction of the Week (for lack of coverage)

Stan, Steve, and I have been discussing possible weekly segments and this is one of the finalists. We are constantly tinkering and welcome any suggestions/comments/heckling. I really like this title because it has the ability to morph into an award for several different breakdowns (eg. in coverage or clothing)

Wardrobe Malfunction of the Week (for lack of coverage):

The clear winner this week has to be the Dallas Cowboys' secondary with Terrence Newman being the main culprit. With the score tied at 10-10 with 2:00 to go in the 4th and the ball at midfield, Kyle Orton hits Brandon Marshall about 15 yards downfield on a fade where Newman actually had decent position. This is when things go south (for the Cowboys, north for the Broncos). Marshall breaks two tackles and at least one "air" tackle en route to winding his way to a 51 yard score. Watch for yourself:

  1. Josh McDaniels is 4-0, whodathunk?

In Newman's defense, I think the sideline and endzone cameras make his efforts look worse than they were.

  2. The regular wide angle view that they never use for slow motion replays.
