Shallow End of the Gene Pool

Larry Johnson may have just inspired a new feature.

Larry Johnson is effectively suspended by the Chiefs pending an investigation. Apparently, he tweeted and said gay slurs this past week.

First, I commend the Chiefs for suspending him in spite of his "value" to the team. Second, I seriously question LJ's judgment because it was an unacceptable thing to say AND the little value he has to the Chiefs is drying up like a Harvard tailgate. Third, many people (including myself) have been clamoring for Todd Haley to start the faster and shiftier Jamaal Charles.

Larry Johnson is this week's venture into the Shallow End of the Gene Pool.

Update: The Chiefs agree and have suspended him for two weeks. I shudder to think of the what this move will do to the vaunted Kansas City offense.
