Here is Exhibit 1 (and probably exhibits 2, 3, 4, 5, and 28) as to why I prefer pro football. What a game.
Cardinals 51, Packers 45.
Also, I don't want to pile on the Packers here, since they did almost pull off a comeback for the ages, so they don't get an official TSLSotW nod, but their last 4 plays went like this:
1st and 10 - Overthrew the game winner. Check the video. Even the ref can't believe it - he flips over backwards in disbelief!
2nd and 10 - Holding
2nd and 20 - Checkdown pass for 15. Officials napped on this one and missed the head to head collision on Rodgers
3rd and 5 - DOINK!! Game over. Also a facemask on Rodgers, but it's not like the officials care about the quarterback's safety or anything.
Not much more to say, other than this was a hell of a game with some of the sickest plays ever. And it sucks for your season to end on a doink.
